Tried with the message "Maximum number of appointments exceeded for the day." in mini passport center(PSK) ?
I heard my friends talking about the problem with mini passport (PSK's) website saying "Maximum number of appointments exceeded for the day". I enquired many of my friends to get a solution to this problem and came to know that
1. PSK in Chennai sometimes opens the appointments at 6.00 PM
2. PSK in hyderabad will open the appointments around 7:30 PM
Note: In later days ,the appointments were opened........
all the day and hence all the candidates can access the site at any time and Manage their appointments.
Guys you can also take a look at https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/news/detailNews.jsp for appointment scheduling.
Because of the advance booking of appointments,the other candidates were getting late to manage their appointments.so,friends it may take day,week or even month sometimes.Be patience and try everyday ,some or the other day you may get chance to take appointment.Goof luck!

Maximum number of appointments exceeded for the day - Message is not normal but some technical issue. I dont get this message at all when tried from home , at the same time I was trying from office, I got this message always!! This looks like some caching issue at the server!!
Yes, I too got it when trying for the appointment from office laptop. Then I tried from my mobile browser and there was no issue. Interestingly this happened even when I tried tethering internet from my mobile (both chrome & IE)with my office laptop. So I believe it is a browser catch issue. Try clearing cache & try.
This is the policy of Online passport portal that every IP address is set to take maximum of 3 appointments in a day...then after booking 3 appointments it shows that "Maximum number of appointments exceeded for the day" so try to take appointment at sharp time when your PSK appointments are open it opens for 2 or three minutes only ..
at which time it opens??
Differs in Different Regions...
The same message over and over every time from office. Tried from another machine and it worked fine. Cleared the catche, but still has the issue in the first machine.

I want to clarify one more thing so that you can get appointment a bit more faster and comfortably. I suggest u to use "Private browser which doesn't show your information" like ip subnet etc., and also clear all cookies and cache before Registration of an Appointment(As said by other friends on the above comments).

I TRIED IN KPROXY, SLOT BOOKED BUT THE TIME DID NOT SEEN THE PRINT FORM WHY? IN THE SAME PROCESS USING FIREFOX SLOT TIME SHOWN WHY?

I am assuming that Passport seva portal caching some info regarding you PC.
But, cache,cookie, IP resetting will not work(I tried).
Solution is complicated. You want to install 'tor'(An anonymity providing browser application). It will work fine..
