Is it true that youth are not interested in taking a part in the festivals like holi, dussera, sankratri etc. why? What is the reason?

If you navigate in to deeper layers of the reason, one may find the answer. And the answer would be not because they don’t know the value of those festivals but because they forget the importance of them. Yes, there is a need of an academic book which helps in rooting the values of the festivals and their importance. And don’t you think so?

 

 

If not, consider this: When the student is in a school level, he will be waiting for the festivals to enjoy every moment of it and make it remarkable, at the same time the graduate or a twelfth class student will also be waiting but not for the purpose of enjoyment, but to get some time either to spend on internet or to play Games. What could be the reason for the same student to think differently at different levels of his life? What makes him to be like that?

You may think like this, when the same student is growing to reach different levels of his career, burdens increase, responsibilities increase and so on. Right? But why we are interested in celebrating Spain’s tomato festival, leaving our Holi behind?  That’s where the story gets twisted. We are not giving importance in promoting our own traditions and cultures.

So every Indian should be actively participate in promoting our culture and students do not leave this tradition of our ancestors, its value ranges beyond our expectations. Celebrate holi but with natural colors and promote our culture to other nations. It’s not bad in adopting others good cultures and traditions and at the same time we should not leave ours behind.
